"Efficiency"What is Efficiency? The maximum utlization of the available potential to effect maximum production or output. In our daily life and work, we may be squandering the available resources such as money, time and energy without getting any useful results. When we are able to utilize the resources given to us in such a way that we recieve or get the results or products that are proportional, then we are said to be "efficient" in using our resources. efficient in their lives: How to be Efficient? or How to Achieve Efficiency in our Life and Work? 1. Learning is necessary to do well: Isaiah 1:17. Constant
learning is essential. Don't stop learning- always there's something to
know and improve. The O.T. is written for our learning: Romans 15:4. There
are so many examples and illustrations of both failures and successes
that we can learn a lot from them. 2. Cultivation of native endowments: 1Timothy 4:14. Use what you already have. Fid the ways and means in a creative way to utilize the resources available to you. Work on improving on what you already possess before looking or expecting for extra or additional help. Read: 2Timothy 3:14. Continue in what you have learned. 3. The Spirit of Readiness: Be equipped, ready and prepared for doing the given work. Being alert and sensitive. 2Tim. 2:21; 3:16-17; Titus 3:1; 1Peter 5:2. 4. Appreciation of Values: Determine to Focus on really worth-while and useful. Occupy with excellent, profitable things. Keep your eyes fixed on what you actually want and off from unnecessary things. Phil. 4:8. 5. Self-Adjustment to a given end: Be Willing and open-minded to adjust or change. Be flexible, tangible. 1Cor.9:20-22. Being adaptable. Not rigid. 6. Capability linked with Fidelity: Being faithful and honest: Matthew 25: 20,21. Integrity always pays. 7. Workmanship that is above criticism: 2Timothy 2:15. Ministerial Efficency. Seek for others' approval and not for self. Strive for the best and do your best. 8. Tested by Fruitfulness: John 15:8; Colossians 1:10; 2Timothy 2:2. Keep your eyes on thegoals, results. Work towards achieving them. Be reproducing, multiplying, result-oriented, accomplishing. Don't stop or quit half-way. 9. An All-Embracing Efficiency: Philippians 4:13. Christ is the source and motivation for efficiency. Believe in God to do the impossible. Believe in yourself, You can Do with God's help! 10. Progression to Perfection: 2Peter 1:4-11, 3:17-18. Constant addition of qualities. Be moving upwards- from glory to glory, victory to victory- adding constantly. Don't stop or quit. Don't rest till He comes. You will be Efficient! 1Thessalonians 3;12-13; 2Thess. 1:11-12; 1Peter 5:10; Jude 24,25. Be Encouraged. "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might." Ecclesiastes 9:10. |
